By Ender on Sunday, March 08, 2009

AC Toys member iamguest has pics up of new Titanium Figures! Featured are Hot Zone(Hot Spot), Thrust and War Within Optimus Prime. All are repaints but still an exciting development in this supposedly dead line. Stickers indicate they are Target Exclusives.

As terrible as the Soundwave mold is (well, the upper body is great. It just goes to hell at the waist and below), I'd buy the Soundblaster for the Ravage that was supposed to be included with it.

Unreleased because they were sitting in a warehouse = new to me because I didn't have 'em in my collection yet. I can see where this line (like lots of lines) didn' cost out by distributing across all retailers with a toy aisle so I hope they do well with all the store exclusive offerin... read more

Sure that first wave Megatron was weak and first wave Optimus was floppy but things really improved from wave 2 onwards- how many companies respond that fast to fan complaints? None. As a diecast junkie AND a War Within fan AND a Transformer fan, I got a lot of joy out of the 6" titanium run.... read more

Agreed. The Titaniums were improving with each new wave by leaps and bounds. Remember, they were designed by a team from Galoob who weren't really accustomed to making transforming toys, and they were learning as they went along. RiD Prime, BM Cheetor, G1 Ultra Magnus, Rodimus, and the Fallen... read more

I'll agree about Mighty Mugs, they're SD statues, nothing else. Titaniums, were actual Transformers. From the first wave, Megatron and Jetfire left a bad taste that pretty much marked the line, but as it went on it did improve. Figures like the War Withins and single piece RID Optimus, G1... read more

I'm using my Titanium Lazerbeak with ML Soundwave and Universe Ravage. I'm not sure where my Titanium SW is now... I also have Titanium Rodimus Prime and Scourge. Scourge I really like. He looks good in both modes and has a simple transformation, which I think suits the Titanium line be... read more

Titaniums never appeared in Spain. Only a very select few 3 inch ones did. I have Rodimus and Had G1 Ultra Magnus. Liked them both except for the fact that their own weight kinda kills them a bit. I really want the original 6 inch version of WW Prime though. Don't like the new version so much. ... read more
