That's one thing iGear should have retooled a bit IMO - those awful MP feet. Maybe they still will, if these are only prototype pics? I mean, the coneheads were depicted with different legs to the seekers anyway (bigger, hexagonal knees, longer shin guards etc...)

I love how the ball joints /slash/ pegs on the MP seeker's(HasTak's)hips are not present on these. I never did like how my Walscream and Skywarp look with the samurai sheaths hangin down the sides of their hips, OR how the ball shaped pegs look sticking out either. This is a HUGE improvement... read more

What's that old saying.....if you don't pickup and run with the ball, somebody else will?! Nice job iGear. Shame on Takara or Hasbro for that matter. The corporate giant is too slow.... I think the Prime repaints are what did it for me when we should have gotten Thundercracker at least... read more

Since the IGear site shows the 3 together, I emailed them and asked if they are being released as a set. I Gear said no they will be released separately, too bad they didn't answer my second question about price

To me, the Coneheads are a no-brainer. Three new wings, three new simple weapons, and one retooled hard that can be used three times, that's all that Takara/Tomy had to do. Instead of a comic colors MP Grimlock, Black Convoy, Ghost Starscream and Sleep Mode Convoy, Tomy could have made the Con... read more

As soon as people buy them... TAkara will then begin releasing coneheads also... ahh - without the autobots having some mirage, jazz, wheeljack, bluestreak, etc -- it doesn't make a lot of sense to add these to the MP collection (in my view). If you want to go that route - might as well get t... read more

I personally love these seekers/cone-heads. I'm thrilled iGear is going to the trouble to make what we really want. I have to agree that it's quite possible that a 3rd Party is paying out to utilize this mold, etc. It's such a small market for TakHas, that it's not worth fighting... read more

I seriously doubt whether HasTak will consider these competition; they're well aware of the seeker-completist gene in fandom and in a way this gets them off the hook from having to release a further three variations on the same mold (that would make, what, eight altogether?! Nine if you cou... read more
