As if the the debate over the Mini-MP Convoy needed any fuel. According to some news coming from AcToys.net. It looks like a new fan made Megatron is about to throw a few logs on the KO Transformers fire. The unofficial figure shown is an exact replica of the Tomy Takara MP-5 Masterpice Megatron but scaled down to roughly 2/3 the size of the original.

Many thanks to Kaiser who has updated us with pics of the Tele Beast Wars TM-SP DX Convoy & Megatron In-Package. These are the repaints of the Ultra class Optimus Primal figures from the the Original Beast Wars series. Pease view the images in the gallery.
"Los" of LAFtoys.com has just sent us some images of what appear to be the Tele Beast Wars deco versions of the original Convoy and Megatron molds. TakaraTomy have named these toys TM-SP DX Convoy and TM-SP DX Megatron and will each retail for 4000 Yen (about $34.50). Take a look at the images by clicking through.

This is the new one, based on the Robot Masters Megatron mold as opposed to the original full-sizedT-Rex figure. Confused yet? Two more TakaraTomy Transformers Tele Beast Wars figures have been announced. TM-12 Gimlet to be release on August 9, 2007 and TM-14 Motor Arm to be released on September 20, 2007 both retailing at 2,500 Yen in Japan.
Its not all playtime over at Takara, Japan. Most recently the cameras have been rolling on Takara's very own mobile cable channel, TAKARAND. The big news here is Beast fans in Japan will finally get to see Beast Machines in language! The show will go under the Japanese translated name of "Beast Wars Returns" and is set to debut in 2004. "Well, it looks like Japan has picked up and will be airing the cancelled Beast Machines cartoon series. First item up for release is this Blue version of Megatron for the same series. I wonder what other changes are going to go on in Japan? I wonder if the show will even be CGI like the original Beast Machines. Oh well only time will tell."
