Apocalypse Comics will be bringing two exclusive IDW variants to this years New York Comic Con. The first is for Transformers #12, which is a homage to the classic Jack Kirby cover of X-Men #1. The second is for GI Joe #23, which is a homage to the unforgettable "Apocalypse Now!" movie poster.

Thanks to Pete Sinclair who has sent us the an update about the Transformers Timelines Fall Special: Generation 2 Redux cmic from Fun Publications, Inc. The great news is that the comic has been Spotlighted with order number on Page 277 of the September Previews.

The Transformers November Comics Solicitations From IDW have been released and looks like November will continue with more Transformers comics goodnews including releases for Transformers Ongoing #13, Transformers Best of Grimlock, Transformers Sector 7 #3 of 5. and finally the sequel that follows ROTF, Transformers Nefarious begins. FansProject has posted a preview of the pack-in comic that offers us some back story on the TFX: Protector that we have reported previously. Get a look at the comic for the Classics Rodimus Prime upgrade action figure accessories and trailer.
Thanks to the Italian fan site, autorobot.it who has posted a preview of the MP Starscream Comic that were drawn by artist the Guidji Guido. The comics show us looks at movie Starscream, Megatron, thrust and several other characters including Banzitron from the N.E.S.T. action figure series.
Alex Milne, the artist behind IDW Publishing's Drift mini-series, has unveiled the cover for Drift #4 on his deviantART page. The comic is scheduled to ship on October 27th. Take a look at the final issue of the series after the jump!

Just in from Fun Publication's Deviant Art site is Pages 19 and 20 from The Coming Storm... 9 million years ago on Cybertron, a young robot known as Orion Pax would become the Autobot hero known as Optimus Prime. However, there were those on the Autobot Council who still believed they needed the support of a group of robots who were known as the Elite Guard. These Elite Autobot soldiers are tasked with stopping the Decepticon threat before it leads to all out war!
The end of Nefarious is in sight and as we receive issue five this week the pace of issue three which killed my love for it has been rekindled with this installment. Wanting to go back and explore exactly what has happened up till this point, I rediscovered Nefarious is actually a wonderful read as a whole and not as much in small parts. Read the Review
And the walls came crumbling down was the first thing that popped into my head upon finishing Ironhide issue three. Up until this point Mike Costa's slow burn, mysterious questions left unanswered, and amazing pace has worked well for the story of Ironhide.

The mini-series will start in September and will ship bi-weekly and written by Shane McCarthy, pencils by Alex Milne, with variant covers by Guido Guidi.
IDW Publishing Editor-In-Chief Chris Ryall has given us our first look at the lineart cover of the third issue of Transformers: Drift mini-series. The series is written by Shane McCarthy (All Hail Megatron). The series will be penciled by Alex Milne with Guido Guidi, the co-creator of Drift, lending his skills to variant covers, which you see to the right. The series begins in September and will run bi-weekly.
