The Japanese toy magazine features some looks at figures releases coming soon including ROTF Human Alliance Mudflap, MP-03G Starscream Ghost Version, Disney Label Monochrome Donald Duck, Transformers Animated Japan, as well as the special edition EZ Collection figures.
Thanks to Happinet who has posted some big new official images featuring the Takara Tomy device lable action figure Broad Blast, AKA Blaster in the G1 series. This robot has been slated for release, than canceled and then announced for release again by Toshiba here in the United States. Look for this action figure to be release in May 2010.
Cybergumdam has posted new scans from April 2010 issue of the Japanese toy and hobby magazine Dengeki Hobby. Much like the news featured in Figure King, we get some new looks at product releases for RA-31 Mudflap alliance set with Agent Simmons and Chromia. More images of the MP-03C Starscream Ghost Version are featured for all to see and believe. Followed up by the barrage of Transformers Animated Japan toys that will be out soon!

Thanks to Toy World Hong Kong who have posted new scans from the new Figure King issue No. 144 that gives us our first real looks at the Takara Tomy MP-03C Starscream Ghost Version action figure release. This controversial figure that was said to be fake is here for all to see.
Amazon Japan has just posted a fresh batch of images of Tomy Takara's upcoming Disney Label Buzz Lightyear! The new images show off Buzz Lightyear in robot mode and his vehicle mode. There is a mini version of Buzz Lightyear seated in the cockpit that has a hatch that is capable of being opened. The figure is scheduled to come out in June 2010 and is currently pre-orderable from Big Bad Toy Store for $44.99.

Million Publishing has started shipping their Transformers Generations Volume 3 exclusive figures Skids and Screech. These just came to my door today, so they should be hitting mailboxes (or doorsteps, as they're pay-on-delivery) across Japan. I'd assume most of the US guys will have them in short order as well.

Our good sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has just confirmed that Tomy Takara will be releasing a new Disney Label figure in the form of Buzz Lightyear! The figure is slated for a June 2010 release date and is pre-orderable for $44.99 at BBTS. Additionally, it seems that Tomy Takara has not canceled Device Label Blaster as previously thought, but were just stalling the release of the product. BBTS has the Blaster USB hub ($71.99), along with newcomer Cheetor 2GB USB ($42.99) thumb drive available for pre-order. Both are due in May 2010. Unfortunately there are no images of Buzz or Cheetor, but images of Blaster are available here.
Robotkingdom has sent us an update with new listing and pre-orders coming in. This week we've got our 3rd confirmation of the Takara Masterpiece MP-03 Clear Version - Ghost Starscream action figure that is NOT a Hoax as reported by the other Transformers sites.
Don't believe the rumors of a hoax! The Masterpiece Ghost Starscream is for REAL!!! Thanks to Joel at BigBadToyStore who is the second retailer to confirm the Masterpiece Ghost Starscream as being a real product to be released by Takara Tomy. The store also posted on their Twitter page, "Transformers Masterpiece Ghost Starscream Confirmed!!!" As we reported yesterday, this product is coming in June. The image shown is just a placeholder. Thanks to Malaysian seller famitoy who has informed us the Kabaya Convoy candy toy figure series is now shipping. They have posted images of the figures in the singles, case and master cases. Kabaya Transformers GUM features G1 Convoy, Star Saber and Henkei Convoy. The snap-fit transformable model kit makes a figure about 2.5" - 3" tall that comes with decals and a "yummy" chewing gum.
Thanks to Asian toy seller famitoy who has posted a solicitation for the rumored Takara Tomy Master Piece class G1 Ghost Starscream action figure. This is a G1 colors version of the seeker done in clear / transparent plastic. According to the famitoy, the figure will be out in late June with a estimated value of 369 MYR / $107 USD. The IGear guys seem to be just warming up with the Command Center and Mini-MP1, now we've got something they are hinting at that looks totally king. PredaKING to be exact judging from the teaser silhouette image that is said to be a new project that is "Working in Progress." Guessing from the Command Center backdrop, this is likely to be deluxe or Voyager class figure. Only time will tell.
According to an email received from Singapore store Robo robo, Tomy Takara will be releasing the MP-03 Clear Ghost Starscream sometime in late June 2010. Pictures are not available as of yet, but the figure will be marketed at 10,000 Yen (~ $109 USD). The full email is available after the jump.
Yone of invincible Robot Labs lets us know the MP-8X King Grimlock has been released and is now shipping to customers in Japan. Also just out is new DVD realease with the EZ Collection Black Bumblebee action figure.
The latest creation from FansProject is the Warbot: Defender! This figure features a 3-mode conversion: Robot to Helicoptor to Armored Vehicle. The current images are of unpainted prototypes, the figure will be fully painted when released. The folks over at iGear have posted an update and new images of the IGear IG-PP01 Mini-Master Piece Optimus Prime fan made action figure they are offering. The figure release dates have been delayed and are posted for the IGear IG-PP01, IGear IG-PP01B and IGear IG-PP01C releases along with new images of the IGear IG-PP01 mold painted in G1 colors.

Previously reported here, the delayed Transformers Music Matrix DVD has been released in Japan. It contains a compilation of Transformers theme songs from G1 to present Movie with clips and footage retailing at 3,000 yen.
In the wake of Steven Spielberg's worldwide Hollywood blockbuster film Transformers, Columbia Music Entertainment of Japan will be releasing a DVD titled Transformers Theme Song DVD Collection. This will be a compilation of theme songs from the various Transformers animated TV series accompanied by video. This DVD will retail at 3,000 Yen and will be released in Japan on March 26, 2008. No cover art or track listing is available at this time.
Monsters and Critics.com reports - Coming to DVD on 26th September 2005 from Metrodome is the single most anticipated Transformers DVD collection ever the four-disc boxed set TRANSFORMERS THE TAKARA COLLECTION VOLUME 1 HEADMASTERS. This exclusive release marks the first time this legendary, much sought after but little seen 35-episode series has ever been officially released in its entirety in the West and features the show's original Japanese language version with newly commissioned remastered English subtitles, new artwork and a special collector's booklet on The Takara Collection. Many Japanese gaming sights has reported a new version of the Japanese "Transformers" game that was released last year for the Playstation 2 will be re-released on March 24, 2005 titled "Transformers Best Version" also for the PS2 platform retailing at 2,980 Yen. This is equivalent to the reduce priced "Greatest Hits" here in the US.

Takara Tomy have updated their official Transformers site with new production information and images of the e-Hobby Shop Ghost Starscream MP-03G Limited Version as well as the Transformers Disney Label Donald Duck color version. The site features new images of Starscream showing off details of the open nose cone and close ups of the alternate vehicle and robot modes.
Asian toy blog Mizuakuta has posted a big colorful gallery of images giving us an up close look at the Transformers Disney Label Donald Duck. After some delay, Donaldtron is finally being by Takara Tomy exclusively in Japan. Sorry, you won't find this half duck and half Generation 1 Bumblebee homage at Disney World. These mini-transformers come in diffrent styles to commemorate different version of the Optimus Prime toy known as Convoy to the fans in Japan. We told you yesterday that Tomy Takara has released the MP-8X King Grimlock and it was being shipped to customers. Today, the Higekumatoy blog has posted a very nice gallery of the figure. The gallery shows off the extremely poseable figure as well as the differences between King Grimlock and the original MP-08 Grimlock (hint, there are a lot). We also get a look at the lights available on the figure.
You guys asked for it, so here they are. With the news of the mysterious Rumble Frenzy figure being called PE-01 Shadow Warrior, many of you wondered what size this figure is, and now "tf-op" has provided us just that. The figure is compared with Ravage and shows that the figure will be at or about the Legends class size. Oh, and the figure is extremely poseable and flexible, too.
