Thanks to Peaugh who has posted one of his marvelous video reviews. This round features the much anticipated release of the BBTS Exclusive G1 Seacons and Piranacon Gestalt action figures team. Hasbro surprised everyone with these release at BotCon. With the figure set to arrive next month, this video is a good way to get the scoop on what this toy is all about.
BotCon 2010 was the summer Transformers event and now you can check out all the action in the pages of the current issue of the Transformers Collectors' Club magazine. In addition to the coverage, Derrick Wyatt offered his talents and provided the art for Elite Guard Metalhawk and Casey Coller has continued his contributions with art depicting a certain Decepticon warlord!
If you have been wondering "Where's Ender?" We are happy to report that he's a daddy for a third time and drops us an update on his new baby girl: "Just wanted to send out a quick note to tell everyone that my new daughter (finally) arrived last night! Her name is Adela Titania Laurence, she's amazing. Mom and baby are in good health and we all couldn't be happier."
There's been a lot of back and forth on this toy. The news on this being a Toys R' Us exclusive as well as a release tied in with a San Disgo Comic Convention release have been quite confusing to all. Now you can relax as TRU have posted their Pre-Ordering page that you can get yours at now with FREE shipping for $59.99 at toysrus.com!
As previously reported, there's been some talk going around that Kup would be in the Transformers 3 movie based on images that have surfaced from The Scorecard Review of a cardboard cutout bot head on a pole. Some apparently have assumed that it is Kup, but thanks to Nelson over at Bay's site Shoot For The Edit, that rumor has been squashed. He has posted a notice letting people know the joke's aside with a short statement: "Wrong, no Kup." In another fell swoop, Nelson has also denied that the Nascar trio are the Stunticons or Omnicons and not giving us alternatives. "[A]ll I'll tell you is that they're not Stunticons or Omnibots," he writes.
Thanks to Mickmon over at HK-TF who has posted some images of the Transformers Generation 1 Seasons set that will be released here in the USA this year. Get a look at the box artwork. What interesting to note is the pre-applied stickers and some figure names that have been extended with the "Decepticon" label most likely for Trademark issues.
Toys R Us is offering us a huge blowout of all Hasbro figures from now until July 17, 2010, where you buy one figure, you get another 50% off! If you've been jonesing for two specific figures, now is your chance!
The best analogy I have to describe my feelings on this issue of Ongoing is to describe a scenario where you walk into a nice reputable restaurant for a dinner and don't get quite what you bargained for in the end. Once seated you immediately order the Fillet Mignon because that's what you've been craving all day. Now for this scenario to work lets just say you are so ravenous you'll eat anything brought to your table. So you don't think twice when the first course placed before you is a salad. Read The Review
Chances are by now you've seen the History Channel's TV show Pawn Stars. Recently, they have been airing and episode where they meet with a Transformers collector with a lot of robots. See multiple copies of many G1 figures like Fortress Maximus, Scorponok, Mirage and many more that won't believe. Thanks to forums member Backfire who posted a whole mess of stills from the show.
Stan Bush will be at SD ComicCon July 23-25 (Friday - Sunday) at Booth #5624 (Twin Suns Productions). “Til All Are One (Transformers Theme)” from Stan's album “In This Life” is featured in the new Activision game “Transformers: War For Cybertron” released in June, 2010.

The USA MP Grimlock saga continues. A news update at Entertainment Earth (EE) reveals they will be offering the Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock action figure for sale at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con later this month. The figure is listed as a Toys R' Us exclusive that will on sale at the EE booth for $70 USD.
What happened to the Masterpiece Grimlock that Hasbro said they were releasing excslusively at Toys R' Us on July 1 as previously reported? It seems none of Toy R Us has posted the products for sale. Nor is it posted online at ToysRus.com. Hasbro has since changed their site news to simply read "New Exclusive Grimlock" with the TRU information removed. If anyone has seen the MasterPiece Grimlock at TRU, please post a sighting.
According to The Sun, the Pentagon is working on a new technology that allows electronic materials to change form. In this case, they were able to make a square turn into the shape of plane. Albeit, a very simple representation you can see this device is able to transform on its own into other shapes. Researchers at the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) launched the project in 2007 in conjunction with Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Thanks to Shout! Factory who's sent out the cover art for the Transformers Generations 1 DVD cover to Season 3 and 4. Looks more art work by Andrew Griffith. Looks like artwork by Andrew Griffith. This one's got Rodimus holding up the Matrix to ward off the Decepticon warriors Scourge, Cyclonus and Galvatron as Unicron's head looms in the distance. Pretty spiffy. This set will be out April 20, 2010 for an MSRP of $29.95. Check out the cover and more details after the jump.

The end of Nefarious is in sight and as we receive issue five this week the pace of issue three which killed my love for it has been rekindled with this installment. Wanting to go back and explore exactly what has happened up till this point, I rediscovered Nefarious is actually a wonderful read as a whole and not as much in small parts. Read the Review
And the walls came crumbling down was the first thing that popped into my head upon finishing Ironhide issue three. Up until this point Mike Costa's slow burn, mysterious questions left unanswered, and amazing pace has worked well for the story of Ironhide.
But this issue something changed. Read the Review Here.
Thanks to the chenkofs over at Actoys who has posted a batch of images showing off the Transformers Generation 1 Seacons reissue that will be in stores next month. Get a close look at each of the Seacon robots, alternate modes, profile cards and more after the jump. Note: this is the mass market edition of the Seacons. Not the one BBTS has for sale that is true G1 colors.
Thanks to "软体动物," we have new looks of the Transformers: Generations figure Drift. The figure is based on the IDW Publishing-created character, who will soon get his own mini-series. Generations will be a subline that includes Deluxe-sized figures only, including a limited number of War For Cybertron characters.
Mirror mirror on the wall, can it really be there's an acution for the rarest Megatron of them all? The folks who bring us Lee's Toy Review magazine appear to have one of the ultra rare Hasbro 1994 Megatron Advanced Tactical Bomber action figures up for auction on Ebay. This figure was a bit of a myth for a time until one showed up at BotCon years ago. There's much debate over their being released or not. The extreme rarity and $5,500 starting bid suggests they were not.
Thanks to GenZhao, we finally have some out of the box shots of the Commemorative Edition Generation 1 Perceptor. The figure will be out exclusively at Toys R Us stores sometime quite soon. According to GenZhao's posting over at KO Toys, the figure's gun no longer has the spring.
