Here are some images of the Transformers Optimus Prime Maquette that was on display at the Sideshow booth at 2010 SDCC. Get a look at this 20 inch super detailed statue of Optimus Prime from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie. This figure was announced last year. Pre-orders are slated to open in August 2010.

We are live from SDCC 2010 at The Hub Transformers Panel! The channel is a partnership between the newly-formed Hasbro Studios and Discovery Communications. Read all about that happened at the panel, including the reveal of Transformers: Prime character designs!

Hot off the encoding process, we have a video from The Hub booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2010 showing off previews of all of their shows coming this fall. The video montage also includes Transformers: Prime about 45 seconds in, showing flashes of the one and only Peter Cullen and early design sketches of Optimus Prime. While we weren't able to show you the reveal of Optimus Prime design from the brand-new Transformers: Prime series during BotCon 2010, he is on full display at San Diego Comic-Con 2010! As we described during BotCon 2010 he is a mold of the Transformers live action movie with a Generation 1 head, blended with the Transformers: Animated look. The brand is looking forward to the debut of the new, original "Transformers Prime" animated series coming to The Hub cable television network this fall and is also celebrating the launch of the global Hunt For The Decepticons promotion and recent release of the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game from Activision. Additionally, the Transformers brand is welcoming Alex Irvine, author of the new novel, Transformers: Exodus, to the Hasbro booth for a one hour autograph signing session starting at 11:00am on Saturday, July 24.

Thanks to s250, we have our first looks of a blue repaint of Transformers: Cybertron Megatron out of the plastic packaging, which we first saw earlier this week. According to s250, the figure is named Cindersaur, but that is unconfirmed at this point. When we first learned of the figure, it was rumored at a BotCon 2010 exclusive figure, but that is also unconfirmed. We will let you know when we learn more, though. Until then, enjoy the images.

Hasbro is kicking off the start of the first ever official TRANSFORMERS fan convention to be held in Asia, “TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Con,” at the East Asia Exhibition Hall at the Shanghai World Expo. Building on the tremendous momentum and enthusiasm for Hasbro’s popular brand around the world, the Company is presenting an extensive collection of historical TRANSFORMERS items from throughout the brand’s 26 year history.

This year, Hasbro have generously supplied us with no less than THIRTY sets Of the eagerly anticipated Challenge At Cybertron boxed set featuring Universe Cyclonus, Galvatron and Rodimus! This set is not being released in the UK and at the moment, it's not even released in the US and when it is, it will be a Target exclusive!!

Recently the Auto Assembly 2010 website updated with the amount of tickets that have been pre-booked and has now reached 506 pre-registrants, not only braking last years record of 501, but it has set a new European record for a Transformers convention. Also it has been announced that James Roberts has been added to the list of guests to attend this years convention. From October 1st to October 3rd, 2010 the seventh edition of the Jornadas de Transfans Españolas convention (JDT) will be held in the Spanish city of . This convention, formerly known as Jornadas de Transformers Españolas, is the annual meeting in which Spanish fans celebrate their passion for these toys through exhibitions, lectures, contests and activities.
