If you didn't like Leo Spitz (Ramon Rodriguez) in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, you're out of luck. Leonardo Ponce De Leon Spitz will have an expanded role in Transformers 3 if Director Michael Bay has his way, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Mr. Bay explains, "we went looking for a sidekick in this movie, Shia’s sidekick, and we find this new kid who really pops on screen. I think he’s going to have a real bright career."
For those of you who don't know very much about Mr. Rodriguez's start in the entertainment business, the LA Times article provides a spotlight on his career up until now.
He may also be seen in this summer's The Taking of Pelham 123 starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta.

I'm probably repeating what a lot of other people have already said, but that Leo character was unneccesary and annoying as hell. The movie itself seemed ok, but sorry, I was just feeling like "meh" after it was over.

LESS HUMAN CHARACTERS, MORE ROBOTS.
He was alright in ROTF, bordering annoying, but a larger role, along with all the other humans, will mean less robots. So I do not approve!

did leo have any lines where he wasn't hamming it up and/or screaming? I could totally do without him. and the twins. I prefer my comic relief to come naturally from the main characters, rather than have a bunch of nonsense characters in there just to pander to the kiddies, whom, might I add, SH... read more

Yeah, I don't know why the bothered rendering Sideswipe and the Bikes. they were hardly in the movie. I can't imagine they really got their money's worth. And I swear, I didn't even see Jolt.

We'll just have to disgree on this. I found the twins horribly useless & unfunny, and their massive amount of screen time would have been much better spent on some of the other characters introduced in the movie. Sideswipe could have gotten more than one line!

Rachel Taylor's character didn't belong in the first movie. As for Leo I expect him to show up in the next movie trying to be the Autobots' publicist.

I liked her better then Sam and Megan, and thought she was more important.
All he had was an ebay page, and she uh, just looked good!?! Say and feel as you will, but thats my take and prefrence.

Check her quote. She wasn't interested. She was also a pointless character from the first movie anyways. They "crack" the code one moment and in the next scene we get introduced to sector 7. Her cracking of the code accomplished nothing. All networks still went down.
